Notes from the Importer: The Fleury family has been rooting its roots in the heart of champagne on the Côte des Bar since 1895.
The vineyard is planted on clay-limestone hillsides predominantly limestone, a sign and a guarantee of very high quality. The Domaine was one of the first in Champagne to set up a careful and demanding cultivation of the vineyard in biodynamics in 1989.
Today it is the 4th generation - there are three of them - who run this vineyard which covers around 15 ha with a very minimal average yield of 6,000 liters per hectare.
Made from 100% Pinot Gris, this grape variety has almost disappeared and is very rare.
