Notes from the Importer: Le Vendangeur Masqué is a sidecar project of Alice and Olivier de Moor, which arose as a creative response to consecutive years of frost and hail damage that wiped out much of their fruit. The Caravan is a road-tripping blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc from neighbouring growers, as well as some of their own Aligoté grapes and a sizeable portion of Riesling from Alsace. This interesting melange is still very much de Moor in style and taste, though with intensified aromatics and a beautiful line of acid from the Riesling. White Burgundy with a twist!
