Notes from the Importer: Domaine Kumpf et Meyer was founded in 1997 by Sophie Kumpf and Philippe Meyer, both children of Alsatian winegrowers. They worked organically since the beginning. In 2010 Philipe left, and Sophie continued work at the domaine, assisted by Julien Albertus. Julien began transitioning to biodynamic techniques in the vineyards, which encompass 16 hectares spread out on 70 small parcels extending 15 km north to south across 5 communes in Alsace.
