This red wine was harvested from Lopez Vineyard and was vinified half whole-cluster under a layer of destemmed fruit for about 10 days
Aging: 7 months in French Oak barrels
Fining or Filtering: None
Sulfur: 30 mg/l
Notes from the Winemaker: A multi-region blend of direct-pressed and whole-bunch fermented zinfandel. Come across a wild raspberry bush in the San Bernardino Mountains. Filter some water from a stream. You have this wine.
We work with farmers who improve the soil they farm, and we partner with naturally occuring microbiology to raise our wines. Our goal is to make wines that are essentially Southern Californian, like us.
