Private events at Buvons are warm, thoughtful, and centered around good wine, good food, and genuine hospitality. Whether you’re planning a casual gathering or a more formal dinner, we create experiences that feel personal, comfortable, and well-executed.

Our Spaces

Bottle Shop

Intimate and cozy, surrounded by our shelves of wine. Ideal for tastings, small dinners, and daytime events.
Capacity: ~22 seated | ~40 standing

Dining Room

Warm lighting and comfortable seating make this space well-suited for longer dinners and multi-course menus.
Capacity: ~60 seated | ~80 standing

Patio

A seasonal garden patio with two distinct areas: traditional seating under the pepper tree, and more relaxed built-in benches and low tables. Can be used separately or combined.
Capacity: ~40 seated | ~80 standing

Full Buyout

Exclusive use of the entire restaurant, patio, and shop. Ideal for weddings, larger celebrations, and corporate events.
Capacity: ~80 seated | 120+ standing

Off-Site

We can bring the Buvons experience to your home, office, backyard, or venue—complete with wine, food, service, and planning.


Food & Beverage

Our food is French-Mediterranean with a California influence—seasonal, bright, and designed to share. Menus are tailored to your event style and preferences.

Options include:

  • Family-style dinners

  • Multi-course tasting menus

  • Passed appetizers

  • Cheese + charcuterie boards

  • Wine pairings

  • Spritz service

We can accommodate most dietary needs with advance notice.


Wine Services

Wine is central to who we are. We’ll build selections that fit your preferences, theme, or menu.

Offerings include:

  • Custom wine lists

  • Tasting flights

  • Sommelier-led classes

  • Pairings for each course

  • Rare bottle selections

  • Wine gifts or takeaway sets for guests


Minimums & Pricing

Minimums vary based on:

  • Space reserved

  • Day of the week

  • Time of service

  • Style of event

Once we have the basics, we’ll provide a clear proposal with all costs and options.


Event Enhancements

We offer several optional add-ons to elevate your event:

  • Floral arrangements

  • Printed menus

  • Photographer referrals

  • Cake service

  • Custom wine selections

  • Wine party favors

  • Music or playlist coordination

  • DJs or Live Jazz coordination

How to Book

  • Preferred date

  • Guest count

  • Desired space

  • Type of event

  • Budget (optional but helpful)

  • Any notes or ideas you’d like to share

We’ll follow up with availability and a tailored proposal.


Event FAQ

Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A 50% deposit is due upon signed agreement. Deposits are non-refundable.

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be received at least 90 days prior to the event date.
Please note: all deposits are non-refundable, regardless of when the cancellation is made.

Can we change our menu or guest count?
Yes—up until 15 days before the event.
No changes can be made within 15 days of the event due to advance ordering and prep.

When is the final payment due?
The remaining balance is due on the day of the event.

Are there additional fees if the event runs late?
Events that run past the agreed-upon end time may incur additional charges.

Are clients responsible for damages?
Yes. Clients are responsible for any damage to the property, including broken glassware, stolen items, plant damage, or any deep cleaning required after the event.

Can we bring decorations?
Yes—simple décor is welcome (no confetti, glitter, or anything disruptive).

Can we bring a cake?
Yes. Cake service is $2/person.

Can we play our own music?
Yes, for private spaces or full buyouts.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes—with advance notice.

Is outside wine allowed?
No outside wine. Shop bottles opened on-site have a $15 corkage fee (waived for wine club members).

Can we stay past 11pm?
Extended hours may be possible for buyouts, depending on the day.
